On 22 March 2019, in Vung Tau City, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company successfully organized the Conference on Safety – Health – Environment 2019.
Attending the Conference, on the side of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation, there were Mr. Bui Ngoc Quang – Deputy General Director of the Corporation, Mr. Tang Khanh Nguyen – Deputy Head of Safety Environment Department of the Corporation; on the side of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company, there was Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company.
Along with the attendance of delegates from member units of the Corporation, customers, members of the Board of Directors, Board of Management, leaders of departments, Phu My Branch, Northern Branch and other employees currently working in the fields related to Safety – Health – Environment of CNG Vietnam.
At the conference, the delegates watched a short video “Report on environmental safety work in 2018 and direction of tasks in 2019 – CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company” made by the Company’s Department of Safety – Environment. The video has provided an overview of CNG Vietnam’s safety- health – environment activities during the past year, including safety- health – environment management system; safety training; emergency response – fire prevention and fighting; examination and inspection; maintenance and repair; health care of employees; environmental protection, customer satisfaction assessment. The report also highlighted the achievements, limitations, shortcomings and set out the main direction of activities in the coming time. In 2019, CNG Vietnam continued to synchronously implement safety solutions to ensure operational efficiency and contribute to well completing assigned business and production tasks.
The topics presented “Compliance with legal regulations in CNG transportation and gas station operation” and “CNG transportation safety control” attracted attention and high appreciation from leaders and participants. The delegates enthusiastically participated in expressing opinions, sharing practical experiences in the working process to ensure safety in CNG operation and transportation as well as improve working productivity and improve the working environment to be green – clean – beautiful.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Bui Ngoc Quang – Deputy General Director of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation emphasized that the Corporation paid special attention to safety work at CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company, considering this as a key task that the Company must prioritize to perform.
Thanking and receiving the guidance of the Leaders of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation, Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company affirmed the strong commitment of the Company’s Leadership to the safety- health – environment issues. The company’s managers are required to always uphold the sense of responsibility, focus on directing relevant units and departments to promptly overcome and improve safety work, minimizing incidents due to human error.
Within the framework of the conference, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation rewarded 02 collectives and 04 individuals of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company with excellent achievements in safety- health – environment management in 2018.
