On the morning of 01 December 2020, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company held the Employee Conference, reviewing production and business activities in 2020 and implementing the plan for 2021. Attending the conference were 115 delegates. representing 268 officers and employees of the whole Company. The Presidium includes Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hai – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company and Mr. Nguyen Huu Chuong – Chairman of the Trade Union to manage the Conference.
Attending and directing the Conference, on behalf of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation, there were Mr. Duong Manh Son – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director; Mr. Phan Quoc Nghia – Member of the Board of Directors; Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Anh – Vice Chairman of Trade Union, Head of Supervisory Board; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi – Deputy General Director; Mr. Huynh Quang Hai – Deputy General Director, together with representatives of Trade Union, Youth Union, Professional Committees and leaders of units under the Corporation: Vung Tau Gas Processing Company, Southeastern Gas Transportation Company, Gas Service Company.
Overview of the Conference
At the conference, Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company reported on a summary of production and business activities in 2020 and business plan in 2021. In 2020, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company has many advantages due to received close support and direction of the Board of Directors and leaders of the Corporation, inherited the prestige and brand value of the Corporation in market development, the Corporation’s restructuring for with CNG business, creating favorable conditions for CNG Vietnam’s market expansion nationwide, especially in the North.
In early 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic affected the production activities of most customers, so CNG consumption decreased, new investment projects were also delayed compared to the plan, however. The company has been active in sales and market development, so in 2020 it not only maintains the same consumption volume but also increases market share and output compared to 2019. Entering 2021 with many challenges, the company still aims to achieve business results higher than the level of 2020.

The conference heard Mr. Nguyen Huu Chuong – President of the Trade Union presenting a report on the implementation of Collective Labor Agreement, Labor Regulations, Democracy Regulations and policies for employees in 2020; situation of employer, bonus and welfare fund in 2020 and plan to use bonus and welfare fund in 2021. In general, in 2020, employers and employees have well implemented the regulations in the Company’s collective agreement, material life, income of the employees is stable, cultural and spiritual life is improved.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Duong Manh Son – General Director of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation on behalf of the leaders and Party Committee of the Corporation congratulated the collective of CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company for its efforts, solidarity to overcome difficulties to complete production and business targets in 2020, recognizing that 2020 is a year of many difficulties due to the double impact of the Covid-19 epidemic and deep drop in oil prices; however, CNG Vietnam has managed to overcome and contribute to the overall business results of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation. Mr. Duong Manh Son also shared the general situation of production and business activities throughout the Corporation, information on macro policies, energy market, gas business plan of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation to CNG Vietnam to shape the general picture of production and business, proactively preparing resources in 2021 and the following years. On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, he believes and wishes CNG Vietnam will successfully complete its business and production tasks in 2021.

The meeting voted to approve the list of members representing the labor collective participating in the periodic dialogue in 2021, including 06 employees and a delegation of 11 people, including 3 deemed delegates; 6 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates attended the 2020 Employee Conference of the Corporation.
In 2020, CNG Vietnam has successfully completed the targets of output, revenue and profit; material and spiritual life of employees is guaranteed. However, many difficulties are still ahead. At the Conference, Mr. Vu Van Thuc – Director of the Company suggested that Trade Unions and Youth Unions continue to promote emulation movements and improvement initiatives; is a bridge to share the thoughts and aspirations of employees and call on all employees of the Company to promote the spirit of solidarity, joint effort, solidarity, creative and enthusiastic labor to fulfill the tasks of production and business and safe production in 2021.
