Welcoming Ao Dai Week at CNG Vietnam

Welcoming the launch of “Ao Dai Week” in 2021 by the Central Committee of Vietnam Women’s Union and Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union on the occasion of the 111th anniversary of International Women’s Day (8 March 1910 – 8 March 2021), CNG Vietnam Trade Union quickly implemented the movement at the company from 1 March to 8 March. Accordingly, CNG Vietnam’s Trade Union encouraged female officers and employees to wear Ao Dai when attending the Company’s activities and events and during working days (if conditions and circumstances allow, ensure convenience and safety at work). Through this activity, it aimed to honor the beauty of women and contributed to raising the awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting the beauty of Ao Dai, an intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam.

The organization of activities to celebrate International Women’s Day is an annual activity of the Company, creating a joyful, exciting and meaningful atmosphere for women, in order to honor their great contributions in the Company’s production and business activities. This activity also encouraged creative labor spirit, promoting the good tradition of Vietnamese women, worthy of being a woman: “Be good at public work, take care of housework”, thereby contributing to completing assigned tasks in 2021.
